How we Create Bespoke Models
Using Solid works 3D CAD our design team can take any idea, sketch, drawing or visualization and create 3D model data ready for client approval before commencement of the manufacturing process. This model data can in turn be utilized to create SLA, SLS and FDM Rapid Prototype models of the award if required for the approval process.
When the final manufacturing stage is reached the 3D model data allows the bespoke award to be brought to life by our model making team in a number of ways. The award can be CNC machined from many solid materials including acrylic, plastics, model board, wood and all metals. The award can also be produced using the GRP, vacuum casting, RIM molding, vacuum forming and laser cutting processes.
Finishes available for the award include painting, chrome effect, anodizing, gold/silver/chrome electroplating, vacuum metalising and mirror polishing.
